Tom Ritchey was a Mountain Bike manufacturing Pioneer. Ritchey originally made high dollar handmade Steel Frames, and complete bikes. Like Specialized, Ritchey was an early manufacture of Mountain bikes, and no one manufactured parts for mountain bikes in the 1980's, so these companies actualy began making many of their own parts for their mountain bikes. Through time, I'm sure they had parts made by other companies, then branded them Ritchey. I'm not sure If Tom has sold out, or if he still own...
